After seven years practising Kendo, Sensei John began training in Ki Aikido in 1986. His teachers have included Sensei Paul McKechan, Sensei Mervyn Williams, Sensei Ken Williams and Yoshigasaki Sensei and Shihan Phil Burgess.
His teaching of Ki Aikido is not limited to form, technique and syllabus, and is as much a path of self-discovery promoting harmony of mind and body in daily life.
Fairfield Village Hall is just North of Thornbury along the A38 in South Gloucestershire. Just turn up on time in loose clothing (or bring a judo-type kit) and try the experience for yourself! Classes are £10 per session.
